Creating my personal brand

Before entering the job market as an employee and entrepreneur, I didn’t know the importance of a personal brand. What I knew was to show my work and experience, but how do employers really know who I am as a person? Or a good fit? I took my knowledge from my Applied Integrated Marketing Communications class at WWU and built a creative brief for myself – this process created self awareness and confidence in knowing who I am and how I want to present myself.

co-host of Marketing by the minute podcast

In the summer of 2022, my integrated marketing communication class at Western Washington University created a podcast, Marketing by the Minute, for the marketing program. We accomplished this by working with our client, building creative strategies, and executing marketing plans.

Product management

I had the opportunity to lead a team of five content creators as a product manager for my Applied Integrated Marketing Communications class in the fall of 2022. Our team created a Tik Tok campaign, “The Inside Scoop,” based on client marketing and communication objectives interpreted through the client’s creative brief. During this time we practiced agile and scrum methodology, kanbans, lean meetings, and the sprint development life cycle.
